The Alpenhof Murnau is reopened for guests since 21st May 2021.

Needed requirement for your arrival is a certificate of a maximum 24 hour old negative POC-antigen test issued by an authorized teststation or a maximum 48 hours negative PCR-test.

Fully vaccinated and recovered guests, same as children below 6 years are exempted from the test requirement in accordance with the general regulations by the authorities. When fully vaccinated or recovered, it is mandatory to present appropriate documentation upon arrival to our Reception.

Having a 7-day incidence value below 50, a proof of test must only be presented upon arrival. Further required tests during the stay are then no longer necessary on-site.

7-day-incidence value in Garmisch-Partenkirchen below 50:

  • Arrival with a negative PCR-Test: results not older than 48 hours.
  • Arrival with a rapid test (through a teststation): results not older than 24 hours.
  • Arrival as a recovered person: attestation required through physician / health authority.
  • Arrival as a fully vaccinated person: presentation of vaccine records. 
     

7-day-incidence value in Garmisch-Partenkirchen between 50 to 100:

  • Arrival with a negative PCR-Test: results not older than 48 hours. (Tests to be repeated every two days)
  • Arrival with a rapid test (though a teststation results not older than 24 hours. (Tests to be repeated every two days)
  • Arrival as a recovered person: attestation required through physician / health authority.
  • Arrival as a fully vaccinated person: presentation of vaccine records.

Recovered:

  • If you can present a positive PCR test at least 28 days old and not older than six months.
  • However, the recovery certificate is only valid as a PCR test and not as rapid or antibody test.
     

Fully vaccinated:

  • All those vaccinated for the second time (aside Johnson & Johnson - only needed once) are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after administration of the vaccine.
  • Also, people who had a Covid infection more than six months ago and were vaccinated once are considered fully vaccinated 15 days after vaccination.

In Bavaria it is needed to wear a FFP2 mask in the entire indoor and outdoor area.
This may be removed once at your table.

Up to 10 people.

Restaurant Reservations:
Restaurant reservations (inside and outside area) are possible for our hotel guests (overnight guests) at any incidence value up to 100 – respecting our opening hours.

For guests without overnight stay we are able to accept restaurant reservations according to availability - since 07th June 2021.
Please be informed that with an incidence result of above 50 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen we require either a max. 24-hour old negative POC test-certificate of a teststation or a max. 48-hour old negative PCR test-certificate.

Fully vaccinated and recovered guests as well as children up to the age of 6 are exempt from testing obligations according to the generally applicable principles. Appropriate documentation must be presented in the hotel.

Private celebration/events:

  • With an incidence result above 50 we are allowed to host up to 50 guests outside and up to 25 guests allowed inside after presenting a negative test-result as per above information.
  • ​​​​​​​With an incidence result below 50 we are allowed to host up to 100 guests outside and up to 50 guests allowed inside - not having to present a test.

From a 7-day incidence value of over 100, in the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the hotel business will only be open for guests travelling on business.

The wellness area is currently only open for overnight guests.
Due to hygiene regulations, the use of the steam baths and the infrared cabin is not permitted, nor can the ice fountain and sauna infusions be offered.

Day spas cannot be offered to day guests for the time being.
