Arrive and feel good
The first thing you'll notice at Alpenhof is the view of the mountain range on the horizon and the Murnau Moor in the west. In the hotel itself, a new flower artwork by one of the best florists in Germany awaits you in our lobby. And before going to the rooms, enjoy one of our Alpentee creations with a twist at check-in and relax between wing chair and nature library or on our garden terrace with mountain views.
Linger and enjoy
Not only our terrace spoils with a great view. Observe at breakfast, as the sun's rays in the morning the hotel garden and the Murnauer Moos dive into a warm light or look at noon - whether indoors or outdoors - on Herzogstand-Heimgartenmassiv, Wetterstein Mountains & Co. Thanks to our ideal location in the Alpenhof Murnau always twice the pleasure, so to speak. Also in the new restaurant, which opened in June 2018, we bring nature to the table with extra large windows and in the evening you can watch an impressive light and nature spectacle in the hotel garden.
Relax and recover
In everyday life, we are often exposed to deadline and time pressure, so relax with us not only in nature around the Alpenhof Murnau, but also recharge your batteries in our spa and wellness area. A special highlight is the rustic Kelo sauna with changing infusions on the roof terrace. Depending on the season, we smell of cinnamon, juniper & Co. in the sauna or the refreshing ice cream in the spring. Enjoy the peace and quiet with a good book or in the comforting warmth of the Kelo house. For a deeper regeneration, we spoil you with our own herbal hay applications from the pastures of the area. And in the evening, the Kaminbar invites you to a cozy evening by the open fire, with a glass of wine and soft sounds from the grand piano.

At home in the land of the "Blue Rider", art and culture have a special significance in our hotel. Not only that we are located directly at the source of inspiration Murnauer Moos, also in the Alpenhof itself art is directly experienceable. So do not be surprised if you discover Tony Cragg's "Helix" or the well-known "bronze pony" in our garden. In our hotel's own art area, we take you into the world of Marc, Münter & Co. and take you on a journey to the beginnings of the Expressionium.
