The annual Corpus Christi processions in our Bavarian home-region have been visited by many guests of the Alpenhof. An exceptionally festive event is the boats procession in Seehausen am Staffelsee, abundant with flowers. A tradition, which goes back to the 17th century and which we would like to experience with you.

100 years ago-Kandinsky, Münter, Jawlensky and Werefkin discover Murnau
In summer 1908 these four artists spent their legendary study visit in Murnau which turned out to be a pioneering step for the development of the expressive art in the classical modern age. From 1908 onwards, many of the group's paintings were created, which were brought in a special exhibition first-time. Appreciate those meaningful masterpieces and underline your impression with an artful menu from our gourmet chef Thilo Bischoff.

Leonhardi Parade

The Leonhardi Parade counts among one of the most beautiful Bavarian traditions. At this second-biggest horse parade in Bavaria, more than 65 carriages participate. All decorated with crafted handwork and loving care to get the permission to participate at this Leonhardi Parade of Froschhausen.
